Kuching Skills College Gives Support To Women’s Leadership & Empowerment

Recently 3 of Kuching Skills College staff & 15 of their JWKS’s culinary course alumni join Women Leadership Training Programme: Voices To Be Heard Workshop which was held at BCCK. WLTP is jointly organised by JWKS & the Sarawak Women and Family Council (MWKS).

The Guest of Honour for the function are YAB. Datuk Patinggi Dr. Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Abang Haji Openg, Chief Minister of Sarawak & YB. Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah binti Abdullah, Sarawak’s Minister of Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family & Childhood Development.

The programme stresses on the concept of leadership competencies designed specifically for women leaders.

The main purpose of WLTP is to empower women leaders in Sarawak with knowledge, experience & competencies in order to serve the community better.
