Another Product of Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM), Under Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) & Kuching Skills College (KSC).
While you may think you’re a chef in the kitchen, there is a lot more than goes into that title than slapping it on. A chef prepares gourmet meals but to execute the perfect dish they must have the right training. You can’t just waltz into a commercial kitchen. Instead it takes a hearty combination of experience & training to earn that title.
Phang Sien Jung & Anneylyn ak Kawen, both from Kota Samarahan, joined Kuching Skills College 2 years ago. They took Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in Food Preparation & Production Level 2 & 3.
Now both of them working at Thaali, a very well – known Punjabi cuisine restaurant. The owner of the restaurant is none other than Chef Jasbir Kaur, MasterChef Asia finalist.
In MasterChef Asia where she finished third, Chef Jasbir was nicknamed “the Spice Queen” & was picked as the viewers’ favourite.
Both of them are being handpicked, trained & offered a job personally by Chef Jasbir Kaur before both of them finish their study.
