JPK Star Rating Audit Visit – Quality Assurance Gaining an official star or accreditation from Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK), under Malaysia’s Ministry of Human Resources proves the commitment in giving the potential graduates to compete in job market.
Two auditors from Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) of the Human Resources Government Ministry visited Kuching Skills College led by YBhg. Tuan Haji Roslan bin Salim, Ministry of Human Resources’ Principal Assistant Director. Another member of the team is YBhg. Puan Dayana Daiman from National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) Division.
Audit recision area includes WIM, trainers & supporting staff, administration, quality of facilities & equipment, tracer study and others. All trainers and operation staff gave their full cooperation to the auditors in facilitating the review process.
The objectives of Department of Skills Development’s nationwide audit, which is held once in two years is to assess Accredited Centres offering Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) courses to ensure all centers are operating according to the standardized procedures and to evaluate the quality of the skills institution in the country.
